His Highness Sheikh Faisal AlMazrooei chaired the Judicial Council meeting on 26 May 2026, during which the Council launched its 2025 annual report — a comprehensive document reflecting the continuous progress of a future-oriented judicial system founded on justice, efficiency and the rule of law.
The report announced 43 laws and legislations organising the work of the judicial authority, 66 decisions issued by the Judicial Council, and the completion of 83 developmental studies. Membership of the judicial authority reached 522 members.
On performance, the report highlighted 86.5% accuracy of first-instance judgments and 87.1% on appeal, an average case-resolution time of 114 days with a 90% settlement rate, AED 10.2 billion in settlement value, and AED 3.68 billion in amounts paid through enforcement.
On digital transformation in 2025, the report recorded 1.7 million smart requests at Dubai Courts, 21,121 published judicial rulings, 173,013 Blockchain requests, 24,507 remote sessions held, and 23,438 smart bails with the Public Prosecution.
His Highness commended the Council members and judicial teams for the milestones achieved, and reaffirmed his commitment to a judicial system that protects rights, preserves trust, and serves every member of society with fairness and dignity.
